JUDGES

The UK is proud to announce that this year we have a full line up of wonderful lady judges who are:

I’m Lucy Norton. I’m 36 years old and away from agility I am a mum to my little boy who is now 7 years old, a wife and we own 5 dogs.

I love different breeds and the learning that comes with them. However, agility is a massive part of me! I’ve been involved in agility for 24 years and been an instructor for approximately 18 years and I love the evolution of agility. I have represented the GB Team at the EO’s and FCI as well as the Team England at WAO’s. Along with these I have also been a UK Team member at IMCA for several years. It’s been so much fun and I absolutely love that BUZZ you get on the start line! I want you to know I’ll be there cheering with you all and wishing you all the best!

I love learning & coaching as well as competing myself. Seeing the bonds and fantastic relationships shine through on the course is always a joy to see. I LOVE to see handlers working together and giving it their all and I can’t wait to see you all in the UK.

Hi, I’m Anja Diels – I live in Herentals with my husband and 2 children; Seppe & Gitte.
I started agility in 1992 and I competed with different breeds being a Dobermann; Belgium Tervuren, Border Collie and Sheltie.
I became a judge in 2003.and I have judged a lot of competitions in Belgium and also in many other countries too. I have judged the FMBB World championship Belgium Shepherds twice, the EO’s in 2013 in Belgium and also the JOAWC in 2024.
I also have lots of experience myself competing at a high level in other countries.
I have competed a few times at the FMBB World championship for Belgium Shepherds, the AWC 1999 in Dortmund, and the AWC 2024 in Belgium.
In other years, I’m the coach of the Belgian Junior Team.
I like fast and fluent courses, but it’s important that they are possible for everyone. I like courses that are fun for competitors and also spectators.
I’m looking forward to see everyone running at the Championships and I wish all competitors the very best of luck. It’s an honor for me to judge the IMCA & PAWC  competition. If you wish, you can follow me on my facebook and instagram for more information.

Hi, I am Beatrice Pinchetti – I’m a 24 year old Italian agility judge with a life long passion for dogs & agility. I have been involved in agility since the age of three and have competed in all the most prestigious competitions across Europe. Over the past four years, I have also gained experience as a judge, bringing my experience as a competitor into my judging approach with technical and flowing courses.

Last year, being an assistant judge at the IMCA & PAWC Championships in Italy was a truly wonderful and highly educational experience. I can not wait to design and set my own courses for you all to compete over in the United Kingdom.

Hi I’m Kate and I’m incredibly honoured to have been invited to the judging team for the 2026 IMCA & PAWC Championships.

I’ve been competing in agility for 12 years and judging for the past 4½ years in the UK,alongside 2 years of international judging experience. I currently compete with my 6 year old cocker spaniel called Cassis. Alongside Cassis, is my 1 year old Border Collie called Derek. There is truly no feeling like stepping onto the start line with your best friend by your side. Both my dogs have taught me an enormous amount about how movement, handling and understanding work and this knowledge strongly influences how design and judge the courses I design. I’ve also been fortunate to judge Championship events in different countries as well as the team tryouts for multiple nations and numerous exciting national and international judging appointments on the horizon. One of the most rewarding aspects of judging is meeting of new people, travelling to new places and sharing a passion for agility. Even across language barriers, it’s always a joy to laugh together and form new friendships.nLearning more about the PAWC side of this competition has been exciting and I’m really looking forward to watching it this year and judging it next year. I wish all IMCA & PAWC competitors the very best of luck and hope you have an incredible week.
