When Susan first heard about this world championship she started trying to find competitors and she sent hundreds of e-mails to dog training schools and relevant organizations across Europe. It was not an easy task to find enough competitors but just a few weeks before the competition was to start Susan managed to have 10 handlers and 11 dogs willing to participate.
Since 2002, IMCA & PAWC have taken place annually in different European countries. The event has grown in popularity over the years and can nowadays be attended by 300 competitors and dogs across both IMCA & PAWC.
